Oh, wait! I’m talking about blogging 😊
After my Cookery blog - Seduce Your Taste-Buds, I felt the urge to explore a completely different theme. The very first topic that came to mind was travel. And so, here I am, launching another space—one dedicated entirely to my travel stories.
Through this blog, I plan to share my travel experiences along with a few practical tips and tricks drawn from my own journeys, to help make travel safe and hassle-free. This space is also a personal journal of the places I’ve visited—and a little treasure trove for my lil angel, who can one day read about all the wonderful places she explored even as a baby.
I’ve named this blog My Footprints on Earth with a dream in my heart—that someday I’ll leave my footprints across every country in the world. (Yes, I know it’s a big dream!) At the very least, I hope to visit the wonders of the world and marvel at their magnificence.
Though I haven’t traveled to many countries yet, I’ve been fortunate to explore numerous places in two incredibly beautiful ones—India and China.
India is my “maternal home,” the country where I was born and raised. China is where life has brought me now, thanks to my hubby’s career.
Between these two countries, I’ve visited quite a few places that I felt were worth sharing. Some are so breathtaking that I’d love to return to them again and again. Others are equally enchanting—destinations I’d always dreamed of seeing at least once in my lifetime, like the Taj Mahal in India and the ancient city of Xi’an in China. I’m not sure if I’ll get the chance to revisit them, but if I do, I’ll consider myself truly lucky.
As a child, my parents recognized my love for travel and made every effort to nurture it—taking me on trips and happily letting me join school and college tours. Now, it’s my hubby’s turn to help me chase those travel dreams and explore exotic locales.
Some of our trips were family visits or vacation getaways, while others were planned simply to witness the beauty of a place. Hubby and I rarely plan our trips well in advance—even with a little one in tow! If you think having a tiny tot means we don’t travel, think again. Most of our journeys are decided at the last minute—sometimes just hours before the train pulls into the station. We pack quickly and set off, because both of us are completely bitten by the travel bug!
So, dear friends, I invite you all to travel with me—rather, with us—and discover this stunning world together.
Ready to begin the journey? 🌍✈️
